Phillips Temple Church is hosting its fourth Annual Women’s Conference on May 29th and 30th.
Friday, May 29th – 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – The conference will commence with evening activities that will include fellowship and light snacks from 6:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m. The remainder of the evening will be led by Pastors Henry Mallon and Wendell Oldham to guide us in discovering and/or confirming God-given Spiritual Gifts. There will be a written tool which will allow you to learn what Spiritual Gifts God has equipped you for your unique purpose in life. Understanding your Spiritual Gifts gives insight to how distinctively God has made you.
Saturday, May 30th – 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. - This session will feature Ms. Cheryl Martin, former news anchor and moderator for Black Entertainment Television (BET), a very dynamic spokesperson for the Lord. Ms. Martin is the speaker and host for her weekly radio show, “Excellent Living”. Her ministry is designed to enrich, empower, enlighten and encourage listners with practical and relevant principles for making wise choices and living with purpose. She is the author of her most recent book, “Distinctly You: Trading Comparison and Competition for Freedom and Fulfillment”. Cheryl will share how to stop comparing ourselves with others and be the Distinct Women of God He created us to be. She is the sister of Pastor Truman Martin, Senior Pastor of Maranatha Christian Fellowship Church, Dayton Ohio.
Registration is $25 and includes Friday evening snacks and Spiritual Gifts Inventory; Saturday, a continental breakfast, lunch and gift bag.
Please Note: Childcare will not be provided during the conference.
Please wear comfortable clothing.
